Service dog group recognized by AKC standards
AKC standards

The full name of AKC can be literally translated as "American Kennel Club" club". It is one of the few first-class dog breeding institutions in the world, consisting of hundreds of clubs across the United States. This organization was founded in 1884 and currently organizes about 13,000 dog shows every year. The world-famous Westminster Dog Show uses the competition system formulated by the AKC.

In formal dog shows, competitions are held in groups according to the purpose of the dog breed. Because every kind of dog serves and contributes to mankind, at traditional dog shows, people will divide dogs with different purposes into different groups to compete. This is why we see various combinations at dog shows.
AKC is divided into 7 dog groups:
Sporting Group, Hound Group, Working Group, Terrier Group, Toy Dog Toy Group, Non-Sporting Group, Herding Group

Although speaking from a broad sense, it is said that the Sporting Dog Group, the Hunting Dog Group, and the Herding Group They are all service dogs, but the requirements in the competition area are more stringent. The working dog group at the center of these classifications is currently the one that has made the greatest contribution to human beings. It is often the giant dogs that help humans complete various "impossible tasks", such as warning, sledding, guiding the blind, anti-drug, search and rescue, etc. . Therefore, most of the varieties at the core of this classification were born after a long period of selective breeding by humans. Although working dogs have high IQs, they must be well trained because of their large size, otherwise they will be difficult to control. So they are more suitable for owners with rich body odor.
